Chocolate Crinkle Cookies aka Zebra Cookies
  1. Melt chocolate in large bowl. Mix in oil and granulated sugar to the melted chocolate. Blend in one egg at a time until well mixed. Add vanilla. Measure flour, baking powder and salt into oil mixture. Cover with wax paper. Chill several hours. (I chill the dough overnight to make sure it is set.)

  2. Heat oven to 350. Drop tsp. full of dough (or a bit less) into confectioners sugar, shape into balls. (I use a gallon zip/oc bag and fit 12 drops of dough into the bag at a time. Shake it up and make sure the dough is covered and roll into balls while your hands are in the bag. Fast, easy, and less messy!) Place about 2 inches apart on greased baking sheet. Bake 10-12 minutes depending on your oven. Check the first batch carefully. Do not over bake. Yield 6 dozen. I've been able to get over 90 cookies per batch depending on how large you make the balls. Smaller is better!

  3. Tell me how they taste! Love, Mom PS It doesn't take a lot of time if you make the dough one day and bake it the next.
