Classic Pie Crust
  1. In a food processor, combine the flour, sugar, and salt.

  2. Cut the cold butter into small pieces and add it to the food processor.

  3. Pulse the mixture until it resembles coarse crumbs.

  4. Gradually add ice water, ensuring there are no ice cubes, and pulse until the dough begins to clump together.

  5. The dough should hold together when pressed.

  6. Transfer the dough onto a lightly floured surface and divide it into two balls without kneading.

  7. Wrap the balls in plastic wrap and refrigerate for 1 hour.

  8. After an hour, remove the dough from the refrigerator and let it sit for 10 minutes.

  9. Roll each ball into a thin, flat circle that matches the size of your pie pan.

  10. Place one rolled dough circle into the bottom of the pie pan.

  11. Add your desired filling and cover it with the second piece of rolled dough.

  12. Crimp the edges of the pie together to seal.

  13. Bake in a preheated oven at 350 degrees F for 1 hour.
