Polish pasta dinner with sausages and cabbage in a buttery sauce
Boil the egg noodles in a large pot of salted water according to package directions and drain well.
Cook the bacon entirely making sure it is nice and crispy. Do not remove the grease, you will use this later.
Meanwhile, melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the kielbasa and onion to the skillet until the onions are soft.
Reduce the heat to low and add the minced garlic, cooking for about 30 seconds while stirring continuously. Add the cabbage and top with the bacon and bacon grease. Continue cooking and stirring until the cabbage is tender. (You may have to add the cabbage in divisions. Toss between additions to allow the cabbage to soften)
Add the cooked egg noodles to the cabbage mixture and toss to coat.
Season with a lot of salt, pepper, and garlic salt.
