For the dough:
250g soft butter
100g sugar (I used brown)
1 sachet vanilla sugar
Pinch of salt
2 egg yolks
375g flour
2 tsp baking powder
Filling:
600g apples (I used sweet, 4 apples, peeled)
250g Halbfettquark (english: curd?)
1 sachet vanilla pudding powder (approx. 70g)
Prepare cake: -> use ⅔ of dough for bottom of a round pan, squeeze it to the bottom and up the sides as well to build the base, pierce it thoroughly with fork; -> evenly distribute filling on top; -> crumble the rest of the dough evenly all over the top.
Bake the cake: -> 180 degrees, bottom half of oven, approx. 50mins.
Let it cool and serve with powdered sugar.
