Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a baking dish.
Mix cornmeal, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a bowl.
In another bowl, combine cream-style corn, buttermilk, sugar, oil, and eggs. Mix well.
Fold wet mixture into dry ingredients until just combined.
Pour batter into greased dish and smooth top.
Bake for 25–30 minutes until golden and toothpick comes out clean.
Cool slightly before slicing and serving warm.
