Peal the garlic cloves and either chop finely or use a garlic grater. Heat a pan over medium heat, add the olive oil and garlic and cook with a pinch of salt until translucent. Drain the peas and add along. Stir and then smash, smash, smash to your hearts content. Stir through the lemon juice and a bit more olive oil, and season with salt and pepper.
Toast the bread, add the smashed peas on top and then top to your hearts content. Basil was nice, eggs, smoked salmon, or mozzarella would all be great options!! Enjoy!
