Start by placing the bakquit in a bowl and covering it with water. Let it soak for at least three hours or overnight.
After soaking, rinse the bakquit thoroughly.
Transfer the rinsed bakquit to a blender. Add the chia seeds mixed with water, salt, and enough additional water to cover the ingredients.
Blend the mixture for about two to three minutes until it reaches a smooth consistency.
Pour the blended mixture into a bowl and cover it. Allow it to ferment for approximately 15 hours, or until it appears foamy.
If desired, mix in the pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, and oats.
Divide the mixture between two loaf pans.
Bake the loaves for about 90 minutes.
