No-knead Sandwich Bread
  1. Warm the milk in the microwave.

  2. In a bowl combine warm milk, salt, sugar, oil and yeast. Mix to dissolve the sugar and salt, then add the flour and mix until it forms a rough, shaggy dough.

  3. Cover the dough and let it rest for 30 minutes.

  4. Perform a series of stretch and folds, covering the dough and allowing it to rise for 1 hour after the last fold.

  5. Shape the dough into a loaf and place it in a greased loaf pan.

  6. Cover and let rise until it has risen above the top of the loaf pan.

  7. Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (180°C) for around 25 minutes.

  8. Brush the top with butter while still hot and let it cool on a wire rack.
