Garlic Cheddar Biscuits
  1. Preheat your oven to 425℉ and line your baking sheet with parchment paper.

  2. In a large bowl, whisk to combine all of the dry ingredients (flour, baking powder, baking soda, garlic powder, sugar and salt).

  3. Using a wooden spoon, stir in the wet ingredients until just combined. Fold in the shredded cheese. Don’t over-mix the dough or your biscuits can come out too dense!

  4. Use a ¼ cup measuring cup, measure out 8 balls of the batter and drop them, rounded, onto your prepared baking sheet. Leaving room for spreading, at least 2 inches apart.

  5. Bake for about 12 to 14 minutes, until slightly golden.

  6. While the biscuits are baking, stir together all of the topping ingredients.

  7. Once the biscuits are done in the oven, generously spread the topping over top all of the biscuits. Allow to cool slightly just so you don't burn your mouth and then dig in!
