Chop 10 slices of Applewood smoked bacon and cook until crispy
Dice 1 large onion and 1 medium Honeycrisp or Fuji apple
In a Lodge cast iron pot, combine drained beans, ketchup, maple syrup, brown sugar, apple cider vinegar, Dijon mustard, Apple Rub, cinnamon, black pepper, and ground cloves
Add the cooked bacon, diced onion, and diced apple to the mixture
Spray with Brown Butter Spray
Smoke at 250°F on a pellet grill uncovered for 2 hours using Applewood pellets
Garnish with crispy bacon and a light sprinkle of apple rub
Serve alongside cornbread
