Make Your Own Chili Seasoning
  1. Measure all ingredients into the same bowl and mix together with a fork.

  2. Store in zipper sandwich bags that have been wrapped in foil to keep light out.

  3. Label foil packages. Keeps for 6-9 months in a cool dry cabinet.

  4. Brown ground beef in a skillet. Drain off fat from ground beef and return beef to pan.

  5. Add seasoning mix, water, beans and tomatoes and stir to combine. At this point you can add in anything else that you want to personalize the recipe.

  6. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
