Chocolate Chip Cookie Fries
  1. Line two baking sheets with parchment paper. Set aside.

  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, cornstarch, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.

  3. In a large bowl, whisk together the melted butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth and glossy.

  4. Add the egg and vanilla and whisk until fully combined.

  5. Add the dry ingredients and gently fold until just combined. Don't overmix.

  6. Fold in the mini chocolate chips.

  7. Place the dough onto a sheet of parchment paper and top with another sheet of parchment. Roll the dough into a 9x9-inch square, about ½-¾ inch thick.

  8. Remove the top parchment and sprinkle the dough with additional mini chocolate chips, gently pressing them into the surface.

  9. Cut the dough into fry-shaped strips.

  10. Transfer the cookie fries to a lined baking sheet and freeze for 45–60 minutes, until firm.

  11. Preheat oven to 350°F.

  12. Transfer the frozen cookie fries to a room-temperature lined baking sheet, spacing about 1-2 inches apart.

  13. Bake 10–12 minutes, until edges are set and centers still look soft. Immediately after baking, use a spatula to gently straighten or reshape the fries if needed.

  14. Let cool on the pan for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack. Serve with melted chocolate or a glass of milk.
