Mix the flour, manteca, salt, and baking powder with your hands until you get crumbles.
Add 1 cup of very hot water and mix with a fork (don't use your hands because it will be very hot).
Knead the dough for about 5 minutes until it reaches the right consistency.
Let the dough rest in a plastic bag for about 1 hour.
Lightly flour the surface and squeeze off a ball to get a nice, perfect round shape.
Cook the tortillas until you see bubbles, then flip.
