5oz yellow Mahatma rice
1 can dark red kidney beans (can use light if you prefer)
4oz ground meat (beef,impossible,turkey)
Start the rice (per instruction on back)
While it is steaming start the beans/meat
Sauté ¼ chopped onion in bit of olive oil, once translucent add the meat and mix it up with the onion, add salt, pepper, garlic and chili powder to taste
Once the meat is browned, add a small amount of water (just enough to simmer)
Cover and lower heat to simmer while waiting for the rice to finish.
