Tuna Melt Patties
  1. In a large bowl, combine tuna, breadcrumbs, mayonnaise, egg, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, shredded cheese, green onions, and lemon juice. Mix well until everything is evenly incorporated.

  2. Form the mixture into 4-6 patties, pressing them firmly so they hold their shape.

  3. Heat butter or oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Cook patties for 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown and crispy.

  4. If adding extra cheese, place a slice on top of each patty during the last minute of cooking. Cover the pan to help it melt.

  5. Serve on toasted buns with sliced tomatoes, lettuce, and your favorite sauce, or enjoy them on their own with a side salad.
