Slice the leeks into 2-3cm rounds and fry in butter for 3-5 minutes per side
Remove leeks and fry the shallots in the same pan for 5 minutes
Add the garlic for another minute
Add the bay leaf and the beans, including their soaking liquid
Add the nutritional yeast
In a separate bowl, mix miso with some hot water
Add the miso mixture to the pan
Season to taste and let simmer for 5 minutes before serving
