  1. Pound chicken to even thickness between plastic wrap.

  2. Season chicken with salt and pepper.

  3. Prepare 3 bowls: flour, egg + water, and breadcrumbs + cheese + seasoning.

  4. Dredge chicken: flour → egg wash → breadcrumb mix. Press firmly.

  5. Fry in ½ inch oil over medium-high for 3–4 mins each side.

  6. Drain excess oil and return chicken to oven-safe pan.

  7. Spoon marinara over chicken, top with mozzarella.

  8. Bake at 350°F for 5–8 minutes until cheese melts.

  9. Garnish with parsley and serve hot.
