Cupcake Zojirushi (bb-pdc20)
  1. Melt the butter and let it cool. Beat the eggs. Sift the flour and baking powder together for best results.

  2. Attach the kneading blades securely in the baking pan.

  3. Add ingredients to the pan in this order (liquids first, as per Zojirushi guidance): beaten eggs + milk, melted butter, vanilla, sugar, then the sifted flour + baking powder on top.

  4. Place the pan in the machine, close the lid, select the CAKE course, set crust to MEDIUM, and press START.

  5. When the "add" beep sounds (partway through), open the lid and scrape down any flour on the sides with a rubber spatula. Add any mix-ins if desired. Be careful around the moving blades. Press START to resume.

  6. At the end of the cycle, remove the pan and let cool slightly before turning out the cake.

  7. For cupcakes: Stop after mixing (or use the batter directly) and divide into lined cupcake tins (fill ¾ full). Bake in a preheated conventional oven at 350°F (175°C) for 18-22 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
