Crispy Japanese Potato Sticks
  1. Mash the boiled potatoes until completely smooth.

  2. Add cornstarch, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, oregano, cumin, salt, and black pepper. Mix until a soft dough forms.

  3. Transfer the mixture into a ziplock bag and flatten evenly.

  4. Freeze for about 1 hour until firm.

  5. Cut open the bag and slice into sticks, then cut each stick in half to make shorter fries.

  6. Fry at 350°F until golden and crispy.

  7. Remove and lightly salt while hot.

  8. Mix mayo and hot sauce for the dip.

  9. Serve hot.
