Slow Cooker Pork Chops With Ranch Gravy
  1. Sear your pork chops: Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add pork chops in a single layer and sear for about 2 minutes on each side. Remove from the pan and set in the slow cooker.

  2. Start your gravy: In the same skillet, add butter and stir in flour to make a roux, whisking for about 1 minute. Warm milk and chicken broth in the microwave, then slowly whisk into the skillet until slightly thickened. Add Ranch seasoning.

  3. Finish the ranch pork chops in the slow cooker: Pour the sauce over the pork chops in the crock pot and cook on low for 2 to 4 hours, or until a meat thermometer reads 145°F.

  4. Finish your gravy and serve: Remove cooked pork chops from the slow cooker. For thicker gravy, pour the sauce into a saucepan, mix cornstarch with water, and whisk into the sauce until it thickens. Pour gravy over pork chops and serve.
