Blend the chickpeas in a food processor until smooth. Add the peanut butter and maple syrup and blend until there are no clumps or grit.
Let the batter cool a bit before adding the chocolate chips.
Stir in the baking soda and baking powder.
Flatten the dough with your hands before baking.
Bake at 350°F for 12-14 minutes (may need to cook longer at high altitude).
