Whisk all marinade ingredients in a bowl until fully combined.
Reserve ¼ cup of marinade for drizzling before serving.
Place steak and shrimp in separate containers or zip-top bags. Pour remaining marinade over each. Refrigerate. Marinate steak for at least 1 hour, shrimp for no more than 30 minutes.
Preheat grill to high and lightly oil grates. Allow steak to come to room temperature.
Grill steak 4–5 minutes per side for medium-rare, or to desired doneness. Let rest 5–10 minutes.
Thread shrimp onto skewers. Grill 2–3 minutes per side until opaque.
Slice steak against the grain. Plate with shrimp and drizzle with reserved marinade. Serve.
