Tuna cakes (no carbs!)
  1. Mix the drained tuna, eggs, herbs, salt and pepper in a bowl. Set aside.

  2. Melt butter in a skillet

  3. Add diced onion to the butter and sautee on low/medium heat until it starts to brown a little.

  4. Spoon the tuna egg mix into the skillet to make small patties. Just plop it right on top of the onion. Keep the heat on the low side of medium.

  5. Wait longer than you think you should to flip those patties. You can peek at the bottom.

  6. When the patties are browned on the bottom, flip them. They won’t need to cook as long on the second side.

  7. If you are ok with carbs, serve them with toast. I like to serve with pepperoncinis or banana peppers on the side.
