Creamy Yoghurt Chicken Curry

Marinade

  1. Mix together the marinade ingredients and marinade the chicken in this yoghurt mix while you make the base

  2. Heat pan, add oil and once hot add the chopped onions, let them tuen light brown in colour, then add the garlic, chopped tomatoes, tomato puree and turmeric powder, coriander powder, cumin powder and Kashmir chilli. add a pinch of salt. Maintain medium heat and continue stirring and cooking to 5-10 mins until the oil separates (See video)

  3. Turn heat on low

  4. Add the marinaded chicken to the pan, and mix gently, let this warm up slowly and then bring to a gradual simmer and then cover and cook for 10-15 mins or until the chicken is cooked through

  5. Add the garam masala, kasuri methi and salt, mix well and taste. Cook uncovered for 5 minutes and add a finished touch of a little butter before serving.
