Sear the steak and brown it both sides to seal it.
Add the chopped veg and add boiling water to just cover the veg.
Add your bouillon and gravy browning and simmer for two hours.
If using the optional cornflour, mix it with water before adding to thicken the stew.
Serve with mashed spud, a baked potato, or boiled.
Add a little YR sauce or brown sauce and salt to taste. If you don't have YR, use tomato or bbq sauce.
