Diy Carpet Powder {homemade Carpet Deodorizer - Pet Safe}

1 ½ cups / 300 g / 10.6 oz aluminum-free baking soda (sodium bicarbonate)

75 drops lemon essential oil

45 drops eucalyptus essential oil

1 cup / 200 g / 7 oz aluminum-free baking soda (sodium bicarbonate)

½ cup / 50 g / 1.8 oz non-GMO cornstarch (cornflour)

¼ cup / 45 g / 1.6 oz zinc oxide

60 drops lemon essential oil

35 drops lemongrass essential oil

20 drops cedarwood essential oil

60 drops rosemary essential oil

25 drops lavender essential oil

15 drops bergamot essential oil

50 drops lemongrass essential oil

25 drops rosemary essential oil

10 drops Texas cedarwood essential oil

Mix. Add the baking soda and essential oils into a medium-sized mixing bowl. Wisk together until the materials are thoroughly combined.
Store. Place your dry carpet cleaner into a glass jar or airtight storage container. Store in a dry and cool location.
Combine dry ingredients. Put the baking soda, corn starch (corn flour), zinc oxide into a medium-sized mixing bowl.
Scent. Add the essential oils.
Mix. Whisk everything until the essential oils are well distributed throughout, and you no longer see droplets of oils.
Store. Transfer the DIY carpet powder into an airtight storage container and keep it in a dry, cool place.
Sprinkle. Sprinkle the dry rug shampoo generously over a dry carpet or rug.
Let sit. Allow the DIY carpet freshener to sit on the carpet for at least 30 minutes or overnight for a stronger effect.
Vacuum up. Vacuum the powder up.
