Caramelised onion pasta

Ingredients

  1. Add onions to a pan with butter, oil and salt then let the onions cook slow on low heat for about an hour.

  2. After the hours up, add the jarlic and chilli flakes and continue to cook until golden.(Roughly 10-20 minutes)

  3. In the meantime, cook your spaghetti and make sure to save some pasta water for the finishing touches.

  4. When the onions have cooked down nicely ,add the heavy cream, and once it starts to gently bubble add the parmagono.

  5. Once the parmagono has melted in, add your spaghetti and a small splash of pasta water.

  6. Garnish with some chilli flakes or chilli oil (if you have any) and parmagono, and a green herb of your choice if desired and then serve.💅
