Cook the spaghetti
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the spaghetti until al dente. Drain, toss lightly with olive oil, and set aside.
Prepare the chicken
Season the chicken strips with Cajun seasoning, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Press grated Parmesan onto the chicken to form a light crust.
Cook the chicken
Heat olive oil and 2 tablespoons butter in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the chicken strips until golden brown and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
Make the sauce
In the same pan, melt the remaining butter. Add the garlic and sauté until fragrant. Stir in the cream, chicken broth, mozzarella, cheddar, Parmesan, and cream cheese. Season with Italian seasoning, basil, and red pepper flakes. Simmer gently until smooth and creamy.
Toss the cooked spaghetti in the sauce until fully coated. Let it rest for a couple of minutes so the pasta absorbs the flavors.
Plate the creamy spaghetti, top with the Cajun chicken strips, and finish with fresh parsley.
