Squeeze the liquid out of the spaghetti squash as well as you can. You can use a cheesecloth or something similar to do this but using your clean hands will also work. Discard the excess liquid.
Add the spaghetti squash, finely chopped onion, egg, salt, garlic powder, black pepper, and parmesan cheese to a bowl. Then add some of the flour and some of the breadcrumbs and mix everything together with clean hands. You don't want to add all the breadcrumbs and flour at once since the amount you need can vary. Keep mixing and adding flour and breadcrumbs until you have a tacky but not too sticky consistency and it is easy to form fritters in the palm of your hand.
Form 4 fritters with the palms of your hand. They should each be ½-¾ inch thick. Place the formed fritters onto a plate.
Preheat the air fryer to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
Once it's hot, spray the air fryer tray with avocado oil spray, then add the fritters in one layer into the air fryer tray. Make sure there is no overlap. Spray the tops of the fritters with a bit of oil spray.
Air fry the fritters at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 8-10 minutes until they are easy to move and flip. Flip the fritters at this point and then spray the top with more oil spray (optional). Cook for another 6-8 minutes until fully cooked and browned on top. The exact cooking time can vary by air fryer.
When done, remove the spaghetti squash fritters from the air fryer and serve. Enjoy!
