Scape Salt
  1. Roughly chop your scapes and add to a food processor

  2. Process until you achieve a rough paste

  3. Add scapes to a bowl and take note of the volume

  4. Add half the volume of salt to the bowl (2:1 scapes to salt)

  5. Mix very well with your hands and spread on a lined baking sheet or dehydrator trays

  6. Dry around 110 degrees (or as low as your oven goes) until totally crisp and dry

  7. Crack it all up and add the salt chunks to the food processor again until desired grind

  8. Store in glass jars (vacuum sealed for long term storage) and enjoy!!
