Crispy Homemade Granola Cereal
  1. Preheat oven to 275 degrees.

  2. In a small pan mix, coconut oil, honey or coconut sugar and bring to a boil. Remove from heat and add the vanilla and cinnamon.

  3. In a large bowl combine the cereal, oatmeal, nuts, wheat germ and salt.

  4. Add the sugar and oil mixture to oats and cereal mixture and stir until everything is well coated.

  5. Spread cereal mixture onto 2 - large baking sheets.

  6. Bake 45 minutes (stirring half way through) and then pressing the granola down with a spatula and continue baking until very lightly brown. (watch closely so it doesn't brown too much).

  7. Remove from oven and let cool completely (this is what gives you bigger clusters). Break into pieces and store in air tight container or glass mason jar.

  8. Cereal will last 3- 4 weeks if it last that long.
