In a medium mixing bowl, blend chive and onion cream cheese with cream of bacon soup until smooth, using an electric mixer.
Mix in shredded mozzarella cheese and bacon bits until well combined. Set aside.
Slice the chicken breasts horizontally to create a pocket.
Spoon the cream cheese mixture onto the bottom halves of the chicken breasts.
Fold the top halves of the chicken over the cream cheese mixture, enclosing it inside. Arrange the stuffed chicken breasts in the prepared baking dish.
Beat the egg well in a small bowl. Brush the beaten egg over the tops of the chicken breasts.
Sprinkle crushed Doritos over the chicken, gently pressing them down to adhere to the egg wash.
Bake in the preheated oven for 33 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through and the Doritos are golden and crispy.
Allow the chicken to rest for a few minutes before serving.
