How To Make Pizza
  1. Remove the pizza dough from the fridge 3-4 hours before you plan to bake it. Allowing it to reach room temperature makes stretching much easier.

  2. If you're short on time, you can place the dough in a warm spot, like near your oven while it's preheating.

  3. Preheat your oven with a pizza steel inside for about an hour at the highest temperature. This will ensure the steel gets very hot, which is key for a perfectly charred crust.

  4. Prepare your ingredients as shown in the video. While it's fine to use pre-shredded mozzarella and pre-sliced pepperoni, taking the extra time to prepare them fresh can enhance the flavor.

  5. On a floured surface, stretch the dough into a circle larger than your hand. Then, use your knuckles to gently stretch it to your desired size. For more tips, check out the dough stretching video on my page.

  6. Dust your pizza peel with flour or semolina to prevent the dough from sticking. Shake the peel gently while adding toppings to ensure the pizza remains movable.

  7. To transfer the pizza onto the steel, shake the peel at an angle. If the dough sticks, don't worry! Just bake it for a minute until the crust hardens, then reposition it.

  8. Bake the pizza for 7-8 minutes, and it's ready to enjoy!
