Skillet Pepperoni Pan Pizza
  1. Preheat the oven to 500F. Tear mozzarella into pieces and place it on a paper towel; lightly salt it and let sit for 10-15 minutes. Press with another paper towel to get out the moisture.

  2. Coat a 12-inch oven-proof skillet with half of the olive oil then press out pizza dough to fully cover the surface. Top with remaining olive oil and use a brush to coat surface evenly; sprinkle with garlic powder. Top with sauce, fresh mozzarella, pepperoni, jalapenos, and shredded mozzarella.

  3. Place the skillet on the stove over high heat for about 3 minutes to preheat the bottom, moving it around to heat evenly. Transfer to oven and cook until cheese is bubbling, about 8-10 minutes. (You can turn the broiler on for the last couple minutes if you want the top more browned.) Transfer to cutting board, garnish with basil and hot honey and cut into 6 slices.
