Tahini Pasta
  1. Cook the pasta according to the directions on the packaging.

  2. While the pasta is cooking combine the tahini, lemon juice, lemon zest, nutritional yeast, salt and pepper in a bowl or jar and blend with an immersion blender until smooth and well combined.

  3. Add ½ cup of water from the cooked pasta to the tahini mixture and blend. Adjust thickness of the sauce by adding more or less water.

  4. Heat the oil in a pan and saute the onion and garlic for 3 minutes.

  5. Next, pour the sauce and cooked pasta into the pan, heat and toss to coat.

  6. Sprinkle in chopped parsley and basil.

  7. Adjust seasoning to taste and serve.
