Pecan Pie Dump Cake

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.

  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the corn syrup, brown sugar, melted butter, eggs, vanilla extract, and salt. Whisk until well combined.

  3. Sprinkle the dry cake mix evenly in the baking dish.

  4. Pour the corn syrup mixture over the cake mix, making sure to cover it evenly.

  5. Sprinkle the chopped pecans on top of the mixture.

  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes, or until the edges are golden and the center is set.

  7. Allow to cool slightly before serving. Enjoy warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream if desired.
