Soy Curl Pepper Steak
  1. Soak soy curls in hot broth for 10 minutes. Drain and squeeze out excess liquid.

  2. Toss soy curls with hoisin and soy sauce.

  3. Cook in a hot pan until browned and slightly crispy. Remove and set aside.

  4. Sauté onions and peppers. Add garlic and tomato paste.

  5. Keep cracking black pepper in there and tasting.

  6. Add soy curls back in. Pour sauce over and cook until thickened.

  7. Cut the cucumber and serve both over rice.
