Sticky Toffee Pudding Banana Bread
  1. Preheat the oven to 180c fan, line a loaf tin with parchment paper

  2. Mash the bananas in a mixing bowl then add the dates, water and bicarb, mix. Add in the butter and mix, it will melt a bit which is fine!

  3. Add in the remaining ingredients and mix so there are no dry lumps. Pour into the tin and bake for 45-50mins until a skewer comes out clean

  4. For the sauce, add all the ingredients to a pan over a low heat and mix until everything is combined and it’s started to bubble. Take off the heat and pour over the baked sponge whilst still warm

  5. Top with flakey salt to finish
