Preheat oven to 200C degrees and grab a large baking tray or baking shelf that will fit the whole tart with plenty of room
In a medium bowl, add mascarpone, grated garlic clove, 30g grana padano, salt and pepper. Beat together and taste to check seasoning
Spread mascarpone mixture evenly over pastry leaving about a 2cm gap round the edge
Brush over the edge with beaten egg
In a bowl, toss asparagus in a little olive oil and season
Arrange asparagus on tart and drizzle over a little olive oil
Bake in middle of oven for 30-35 minutes or until golden and bubbling
Add peas to a bowl and pour over boiling water. Leave for 5 minutes and then drain
In a small bowl, add pesto, peas, lemon juice, lemon zest, grana padano, nuts, seeds, olive oil, salt and pepper
Taste pesto to check seasoning and spoon over tart when serving
