Put your butter in the freezer overnight or a few hours.
To your bowl, add 4 cups of all purpose flour, 2 tablespoons of baking powder, and two teaspoons of salt and two teaspoons of sugar.
Mix the dry ingredients together.
Pull the butter out of the freezer and grate it up.
Add one stick of butter at a time, mix, coat with flour, add the second and repeat.
Use a fork or mixer to chop the butter into the flour mixture.
Add 2 cups of milk.
Mix with a spoon until just incorporated.
Put the mixture on a floured counter.
Cover your hands in flour and put some flour on top of the dough.
Fold the dough about 5 or 6 times, adding a little flour in between sticky edges to create layers.
Cut out the biscuits using a cup or cutter.
Place the biscuits on a tray close together.
Bake in a preheated oven at 425 degrees Fahrenheit for 15 minutes.
