Prepare the rub by mixing together the smoked paprika, brown sugar, garlic powder, chili powder, cayenne, salt and pepper.
Rub the spice mixture all over the pork ribs.
Grill the ribs until cooked through and tender.
Brush the ribs with the bbq sauce during the last 10 minutes of cooking.
Slice the pineapple and grill it alongside the ribs until charred.
Serve the ribs with the grilled pineapple slices and garnish with sliced green onions.
