No Knead Bread:

3 cups (450g) all purpose flour

2 tsp (or 1 packet) instant or rapid rise yeast

2 tsp sea salt

1-½ cup (375ml) warm water

Optional: garlic powder, Italian seasoning, everything bagel seasoning (this one I really like)

  1. combine all dry ingredients together. (See note at bottom). Add water and stir with spoon handle (wood is great, but my plastic spoon works fine) until flour is fully incorporated. Dough is gonna be wet and shaggy, but it shouldn’t be runny. Add flour or water to adjust.

  2. Cover bowl in cling film or damp towel and set in warm place to rise for 2-3 hours or until it doubles in side. It’ll be wobbly and bubbly.

3)Preheat oven to 450F (230C) about 30 minutes prior to baking. Additionally, you can preheat a Dutch oven pot thingy. I don’t use one all the time and I don’t think it really makes a difference.

  3. After it rises, on a lightly floured parchment paper, tip out dough and form into a round loaf. Or whatever shape you want. Mine always turns out crooked.

Then, place parchment paper on baking sheet or preheated Dutch oven (use lid).

  4. Bake for 40-45 minutes, or until golden brown. If you’re using the Dutch oven, do 30 minutes covered and then 12-15 minutes uncovered for that ✨crisp✨. Take out, and cool on a rack for 10 minutes before slicing.

**if you can only find active yeast, just use a bit of the water and mix the yeast in it before adding your flour and stuff. Make sure it bubbles before putting in the flour.

**Hella important that the water isn’t too hot or else it’ll kill the yeast and you’ll be left with a fucking mess.

I make this often, and I use it for toast, soups, and just snacking.
