Creamy Cajun Steak Pasta
  1. Pan-sear two New York strip steaks in olive oil

  2. Finish steaks with 3 tbsp butter for basting

  3. Remove steaks from pan

  4. In the same pan, sauté 1 diced shallot until soft

  5. Add 1 tsp garlic, ½ tsp smoked paprika, ½ tsp chicken bouillon, ½ tsp Italian seasoning, ½ tsp Cajun seasoning, and salt to taste

  6. Stir in ½ tbsp tomato paste

  7. Deglaze pan with 1 cup chicken broth

  8. Pour in 1 quart heavy cream and 1 cup Parmesan

  9. Simmer until thick and creamy

  10. Toss sauce with 1 lb cooked rigatoni

  11. Bowl pasta and top with sliced steak
