Combine all the wet ingredients in a bowl.
Add in the dry yeast in the flour and add it to the wet mixture, mix together for a few minutes. You can use a standmixer or your hands.
Kneat well for 7-8 minutes, give it a rest for 5 minutes and then continue to kneat for 5-6 more minutes.
Collect the dough into a ball shape and cover with a damp towel.
Let it rise for 45-60 minutes.
Give the dough a punch and divide it into 10 equal balls.
Dust some flour (around 50 g) onto a surface, and roll the dough balls out as shown in the video. Shape them into bagles and make sure to tug in the ends very well.
Let the bagels rise for a second time for 40 minutes.
Bring a big pot of water to boil and add 1 tsp baking powder. Preheat the oven to 185 degrees celcius in the meantime and prepare a topping station. Drop each bagle into the water and let them cook for 2 minutes maximum.
Transfer the bagels onto a baking tray with baking paper and top them with eggwash and you favorite toppings. Bake for 18-22 minutes.
