Very Basic Cranberry Sauce
  1. Bring the water and sugar to a simmer in a medium saucepan over medium-high heat, stirring until the sugar is completely dissolved.

  2. Add the cranberries and bring to a boil.

  3. Reduce the heat and simmer until the cranberries pop open and became translucent, about 15 minutes.
