Marinate the chicken
a. Toss chicken strips with 1 Tbsp soy sauce, garlic powder, and ginger. Let sit for at least 10 minutes.
Stir-Fry the Chicken:
a. Heat sesame oil in a pan over medium-high heat
b. Cook chicken for 4-5 minutes until golden and fully cooked. Remove and set aside.
Stir-Fry the Vegetables:
a. In the same pan, add mushrooms and cook for 2 minutes.
b. Add broccoli and garlic, stir-frying for another 2 minutes.
Make the Sauce:
a. In a small bowl, mix 1 tbsp soy sauce, honey, chili flakes, and chicken broth.
b. Pour into the pan and simmer for 1-2 minutes.
c. Stir in corn starch slurry and cook until sauce thickens.
Combine & Serve
a. Add the chicken back into the pan and toss everything together.
b. Garnish with sesame seeds and serve over rice or roasted potatoes.
