Crispy Beef With Coconut Miso Broth
  1. In a bowl mix together rice wine vinegar, tamari, Chinese five spice and maple syrup and Set aside.

  2. Heat oil in a pan and cook beef until golden and crispy.

  3. Add onion, garlic and ginger and pinch of salt.

  4. Fry until onion is softened.

  5. Add sauce mixture and little cornstarch. Simmer until thickened.

  6. In a saucepan, heat oil and cook garlic (and ginger if using) until fragrant.

  7. Add coconut milk and stock. Stir in almond or peanut butter and miso paste, then Simmer until warmed through and slightly thickened.

  8. Serve rice in bowls, pour over the broth and top with crispy beef.

  9. Finish with pickled cucumber, spring onion and chilli oil 🤍
