In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, salt, sugar, and yeast.
Add the warm water and melted butter. Using a wooden spoon or your hands, mix until a shaggy dough forms.
Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured surface and knead for about 10 minutes, until the dough is smooth and elastic.
Place the dough in a lightly greased bowl, cover, and let rise for 1 hour, or until doubled in size.
Punch down the dough to release any air bubbles. Shape the dough into a loaf and place it in a greased 9x5 inch loaf pan.
Cover and let rise for 30 minutes.
Preheat the oven to 350°F (177°C).
Bake for 30-35 minutes, until the top is golden brown.
Remove the bread from the oven and let cool in the pan for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely before slicing.
