Start by bringing a large pot of salted water to a boil, and add your pasta of choice.
While pasta is cooking chop your shallot and mushrooms.
To a large pan, add your olive oil and butter. Once melted add your shallot and sauté on medium heat for about 2 minutes before adding your mushrooms.
Add your mushrooms and sauté until mushrooms begin to brown. You will notice the mushrooms absorb a lot of the oil/butter which is good, continue to cook until brown. About 3 minutes.
Add your white wine, and simmer until the wine is reduced by half. About 2 minutes.
Add your boursin, heavy cream and simmer on low until incorporated.
Add your salt + pepper, and taste.
Turn heat off, add your cooked pasta, mix, and add pasta water as you need.
Top with parmesan cheese, lemon zest, fresh basil and chilli flakes.
