Garlic Honey Crispy Chicken Rice Bowl
  1. Season or dry brine the chicken breast with salt.

  2. Dip the chicken into flour, beaten eggs, then crushed cornflakes or panko breadcrumbs. Spray with cooking spray and bake or air fry for 15-20 minutes or until chicken reaches internal temperature of 155F for 45 seconds continuously.

  3. Add sesame seeds to pan. Heat on medium-low until toasted.

  4. For sauce, combine garlic, soy sauce, honey, and rice wine vinegar. Add thickener and water and whisk.

  5. Add sauce to pan and bring to gentle simmer, then reduce heat to low.

  6. For optional sriracha mayo, add kewpie mayo and sriracha sauce at 2:1 ratio and whisk. If adding garlic, immersion blend instead.

  7. Add crispy chicken to sauce and coat well.

  8. Plate prepared rice and chicken.

  9. Garnish with additional sesame seeds if desired, green onion, and optional sriracha mayo.
